kent
Is that likely or necessary, didnt think they did that with parcels !? you still havent given me the cost of screw cutting and proofing its a cz 527 .17 sporting or possibly varmint barrel. Just ask your best local smith about the screwcutting and proof if your fussed about that rip off (some might insist, other not). Don't get the yanks to screw cut it or you will struggle to get a moddy that fits in the UK. In reality its better to shoot a gun prior to screw cutting it to prove it shoots, then buy the moderator and get it cut for that moderator specifically after all you might well have back bushes etc to do
Kes
Chaps this argument is simply solved by following it through. I have to get police permission to collect it from the UK Border Force hub apparently - I have no idea where that is. Just about to enquire re import duty and Vat so not yet a 'goer'. I take the point that screw cutting best done after firing and will come with a reproof, so will sort the cost for that and post. I'll also get a firm answer on a guarantee from CZ and let you know. I do not accpet its difficult or impossible in any degree but my trying will answer those hypothetical questions.
