Very few had acorns or beech mast in them and none had any rape and I checked the lot. They had been on the drillings since the previous Friday I would imagine.

I shot 133 at the weekend over a field of sugar beat that was spread for the sheep me and my lad set up right on a flight path between two woods stopped at 3 oclock they were still coming in .

Brilliant result from some opportunist flightline shooting onto a beet field, well done. Freezer will be busy.

Great result! I think I could do similar round here on late-drilled wheat or beans but fog has stopped play for several days now. They are just sitting in the trees and nothing is building up on anything. Roll on winter!!

Sod that. I say roll on spring!
