Paul taylor
Mate of mine with a small holding who gets plenty of pigeons at this time of year got in touch with the local keeper today and got permission for me to shoot the field behind his house. The woodies ******** off but the ferals just kept on coming in. Had a cracking morning and discovered i can shoot better with his sxs than with my semi. Ozzie my little springer is starting to bring birds to hand instead of eating them too even finding one that had gone down in a hedge I hadn't seen and giving it to me so very happy today

Paul taylor
Cheers gents. Ha ha not noticed any smell probably due to the high winds or smell from the pigs did notice a lot of dust came off them as I bagged em up though. THE AD
The dust causes pigeon lung in humans that's why many pigeon fanciers i know use dust masks when in the loft.

Paul taylor
Simon I know what you mean they're not as smart/warey as woodies and I wont eat em so not as good but im new to it and really need practice on birds which has been seriously hard to find lately so was good to see the flight pattern and how they behaved over the decoys not to mention that I can actually hit a few when they come in.
