I've just had to extract the code from the pic which basically gave me this ... www.3fatchicks.net/img/bar-chicks/slider-chicken/lb/201/175/190/.png The first number is start weight, followed by end weight and finally current weight, all I did was alter the current weight, then cut and pasted the whole address on as a picture attachment.

Lot of faffing but do-able.

EDIT: Ah right, PW has shortened that slightly...I'll unlink it!

Well, as the person who suggested this thread in the 'new years resolutions' thread I thought it about time I sign up. Bought some scales Sunday due to me starting a new diet on the Monday and was completely stunned when it read 20st 6lbs. This week I've started the Atkins diet after the advice of a chap who comes into my work. He lost 9st in 9 months but he was 25st to start with. First weigh in for me is on Monday : (

I have to say that, apart from being my heaviest some years back at 16.5 stone and a size 38 (bordering a size 40) waist, I have got down to about 15 stone and have been happy at that weight. What I have noticed this year is that my weight has stayed the same but my waist size has gone down to almost a 34. I've been a 36 waist for some time and have been happy with that but I've been going hammer and tongs at my Crossfit box since new year and have also adopted the Paleo diet to about 80%. What I mean by that is I have stopped taking sandwiches, etc., and take a big bowl of salad and cooked meat. Plus I've not drank a drop of alcohol since 29th December and can honestly say that I don't really miss it.

The other 20% of my diet is regular because Mrs H doesn't want to change her diet, which is fair enough. It just means I have less pasta, rice and potatoes with my evening meal. If I feel peckish afterwards I have some flaked almonds and flaked coconut.

Good on you guys for sticking with it. The only advice I would like to add is if you are finding it hard to shift the weight then all I would say is have a look at your carb intake. Pasta, rice, bread, starchy veg (potatoes and parsnips) and breakfast cereal to some degree can all make it difficult to lose weight.

Just over as stone :good: and a notch of my belt :good: At this rate i'll be selling all my camo soon.

I know what you mean mate, the good thing about me being a hoarder I can just get the stuff out that I filed away a couple of years ago. I feel this is also a boost to keep me going at the diet. I can already get back into a lot of my trousers that at the start of the year I could not even get closed. The strange thing is that I cant actually see any difference, I am still like a beached whale but might eventually get down to looking like a beached Walrus one day.

Static week again, and with the week I have ahead of me it might be the first time putting on weight and paying the penalty fine.

Good luck to everyone else and commiserations to everyone in the same boat as me.

With the better weather on the way, and being able to get out, this will stop the grazing and extra cuppas, and the weight will start to come off again.

I also flatlined this week terry but will continue to stick with it,

I'm not losing anything like the real dieticians on here and good luck to them,

I will continue to nibble away and will get there in the end

Terry,

you have to take into account that I do have a lot of blubber to lose, indeed 5 years worth that has just piled on since I retired. I have also started taking Frodo out on power walks now so he will get the benefits as well.

And I just thought you were an "extra medium" when it came to sizing

As predicted no loss this week, in fact a 2lb rise, so that will be my first fine £2.00 in the charity pot+£7.00 for the weight I have lost.

Should be able to do better this week, well at least until Saturday at the Butchery night.

I will admit to finding this hard at the moment, but the excuse is the same, not being able to get out for a shoot.

Oh well, will definitely try much harder from now on, not only for Charity but also for me.

Responses are getting slow and fewer come on lads it will be good for all of us.
