Wildfowler12
Afternoon all, Im interested in having a fitted wooden cabinet/sorround installed around my gun cabinet. The Mrs doesnt like it being on show, and tbh, I felt more comfortable when it was in my last property, as it was hidden away in a fitted wardrobe. My gun cabinet is 5 gun size, and Id like the wooden unit to be able to store at least 1500 cartridges (6 slabs stacked) too, so off the top of my head Id guess it would need to be about 60cm wide and 130cm tall? Has anybody in the PW world had this done? Is there any chance I could ask for some info or photos as I want to provide the carpenter with as much research as possible. Many thanks. silver pigeon69
find a wood cabinet you like thats the right size. cut out a hole the same size as your gun cabinet in the back and slide it over.

I thought about that, but the lip under the door on my cabinet is 3cm, so I'd have to take the floor off too, so I think it would be a little wobbly. You could screw it to the wall? that would make it more solid
