Mabery 3
Not sure, its Musto slip and it took me ages to save up for, so want it to last, Cheers
HDAV
I would think musto would have provided some care instructions with it?
Mabery 3
No instructions just a gun sock, so i thought i would ask you guys
humperdingle
It really depends if the leather has had some sort of coating applied, bud.
Catweazle
Neatsfoot oil is traditional. I like traditional, but call Musto, they'll give you an answer that won't invalidate any warranties. The slip isn't cheap after all.
Mabery 3
Cheers Catweazle, I will google Neatsfoot oil, I prefer the tradional approach too,

Will Poon
One of the lads at my club advised me to put leather shoe polish on the leather .
Mabery 3
Thinking of shoe polish but wanted to help feed the leather so it does not crack, the more ideas the better Thanks lads & ladies ( just been safe)
aris
I use dubbin on leather bags and shoes. Nourishes, and protects from moisture. May darken the leather a bit - but not in a bad way. Comes in small tins like shoe polish - try eBay.
Budice
Hide food, the stuff you would use on a saddle maybe?
Mabery 3
Does dubbin feed ? I have just learned something new, education is great we all need to learn something new every day
aris
Dubbin is a conditioner and waterproofer - hence why it is often used on leather boots. Do some googling for more in depth info. Try this http://www.johan-potgieter.com/dubbin.shtml Edited January 19, 2014 by aris
