Been out tonight with a few lasers to see how these work with the NV.

Nothing short of amazing is the answer :good: You can see the beam out to 400+ yards.

I thought I would use IR laser to to keep completely covert, but I was getting within 12fpe .22 range easily, headmounted NV with a normal red laser would work so well as to be almost unfair.

If I had been kitted up like that I could have shot 20 bunnies in 30 mins, no problem at all. Not very windy and not very dark either.

Nice work!

I've kind of lost track though, what set up is the one that works? Is it a purchased Deben IR Filter? (like this one) ?

How can you mount the Bresser to your napper anyhow? I was thinking more along the lines of making a mount to attach it ontop of an airgun using the tripod mount - perhaps by using an old scope mount and welding onto it a bolt screwcut to the bresser mount.

Good job :good:
