ollie
Does anyone have any experience of these hoodies? There is quite a good deal on the bay for around 40 quid. Also, what is the sizing like on them?

jimmyb79
I've got one if these in AP camo. I think I paid about that at a game fair where they were on offer so it's a good price. They come up a little smaller in sizing. It's a nice enough hoodie, but is just a standard hoodie really. So you're paying a bit extra for name and camo. Mine faded in the wash pretty quickly for some reason. But still wear it out lamping all the time. I later bought an under armour hoodie which is a lot nicer. Scully
I don't buy RW gear since buying a pair of Moleskins which literally came apart at the seams.
kent
I think all rivers wet owners might not touch the stuff again, lots of marketing and decent ideas wrapped up in rubbish manufacture IMO. Broken zips, leaks etc.

I got an underarmour hoodie from the missus at xmas and it is very good. I don't buy RW gear since buying a pair of Moleskins which literally came apart at the seams. Not cheap ,but you know what they say about cheap . I will definately buy another one . If you have problems with yours then send it back they will exchange it with no quibble . Harnser. The cuffs have cracked a zip has broken (not uncommon read the threads) and it leaks at the seams on the back in heavy rain. Its about three seasons old and gets washed as per the instructions in the best washer money can buy fed on clean filtered spring water. Thought it was brill for first 12mnths, previously happy to recommend them but the proof is in if its worth the dosh after a period of proper wear in my opinion a big fat no! I will send it back though its such a darn hassle I don't need
Harnser
I dont know about washing it in the best washing machine money can buy ,or washing it in in filtered spring water . My jacket is four years old and has never been washed ,it doesn't need it . My only criticism of the jacket is that the zipper could have been a bit better . After four years it is still water proof ,warm and fully functional . Harnser.

To expensive a jacket to have poor zippers and leaks etc. I don't give my kit any quarter in use and although it probably gets more real hard use with me than most, I also look after it after the fact. I should buy another Eider - if they were under £100 because I know good fishing jackets and ex-military gear that last longer and stay drier for that sort of money and less. I regret recommending them in the past but time tells
