Chris_S
Seems quite common, mine has a darker forend and lighter stock, anyone out there have the opposite and want to swap forends/stocks?
Brad93
You could try recoiling your stock with a darker oil and therefore make them a closer match.
Will Poon
How much different in colour is it, can you put a picture up ?
Chris_S
Picture below. It does look more different in real life: I thought about refinishing it but I have tried this before and found it impossible to get the colour right... Will Poon
I have a lanber sporter that my friends and family use, it's pretty much identical to the colour of your stock and forend . I wouldn't worry about it too much
Chris_S
It didn't bother me really until I came across a picture of another gun which was the exact opposite and it got me thinking...
Will Poon
There's an even easier way around this , sell the gun and get a different one Only kidding pal
delburt0
If it kills things when you pull the trigger I'd forget about the colour match My personnel opinion is the forend looks like the wood has been sourced from a African jungle. While as the stock from more of a Eastern European rainforest ......simples Edited January 30, 2014 by delburt0

Dangerous Brian
I bought a Tru oil refinishing kit off Feabay that came with cloth, abrasive paper, oil, stain and polish/finish. You would just need to nip down the DIY store for some Nitromors stripper and you would be all set. Just follow the instructions in the kit closely and you should be able to even up the colour and get a fantastic finish.
