help re buying empty shellcases 20 bore

i am looking for some new empty 20 bore shell cases looking at the "siarn" website they have loads to choose from. some are paypal and some are not. i want just the case without primers . i want them at 70mm lengh. for 24 and 28 loads in say 7 lead size, using plastic wads . the list looks very confusing . as i dont have many reused one i am wanting to build my own stock up . looking at some of the used ones with rust on them puts me of a bit ..............ok guys so what ones do you buy . thanks for the help ...........................


oh and what does "shived" mean also will be using cx2000 and cx 50 primers

+1. You will find reloading 20g shells a pita as the plastic seems to stretch. Inconsistent crimps and many won't fit in the chamber or eject properly. As Cook says above :good: John does a bulk buy on ready primed cases that makes it cheaper than buying new cases and primers separately. Also speeds up the loading process :yes::good:

And shived means the shell mouth is thinned to aid crimping. Its another reason why they don't reload well as they tend to split on the crimp cut lines.
