Cheers, JSC. I sold a PCP end of last year and posted it parcelforce 48 to an RFD from the Post Office. As long as its not on a FAC you should have no problems. Its easiest to post it as "sporting goods" (as thats technically what it is). I know that Blackpool Air Rifles use APC overnight. -Andrew Edited February 5, 2014 by Theskyfox

Highlighted the critical bits........ Royal mail will carry them but the tricky bit is the size restrictions........ http://www.royalmail.com/personal/uk-delivery/1st-class-mail?intcampaignid=CLT_0613_LP_05 Medium Parcel Gifts, shoes, heavy or bulky items 20kg 61cm 46cm 46cm
Dekers
A few years back I used TNT, worth a call to see if they will take it for you!
chrisjpainter
In December I sent my R10 off to XTX-Air for a tune and it went Royal Mail special delivery. The hard bit is the length, as it has to be bellow 61 cm. However, depending on the gun you can get round it by taking the action out of the stock, then packing them next to each other (being careful not to damage either), as well as removing things like silencers or shrouds. That doesn't work for everything though. Also be aware that the max insurance is £500 i think. But, the gun will have to be shot dry of air, as no one will take pressurised cylinders off you.
