crieffy
Just got meself around 900 acres of new land to shoot on. The whole place is infested with bunnies - the farmer gets a lot in live traps but is wanting me to shoot some of the more awkward places. Got 72 on my first trip so not a bad start (boring trivia) The hill in the background was a favourite place of serial killer Dennis Nielsen There's also an old 800 yard range that used to belong to the Royal Signals. It's only 2 miles from my house and I never even knew that anything was still there. And a shooting trip in Shetland just wouldn't be complete without a downpour

Can i ask if it take much to finished it as i have just ordered one . It is from Richards Microfit Once it eventually turned up, it only took a little bit of opening up the inletting then a couple of days sanding, then around a week slapping on the Tru Oil finish. Link with some pics as I worked on it > STOCK Hope your stock arrives quicker than mine - around 16 weeks!
crieffy
Outstanding scenery - and have you tried to lift the target frames? Never tried, though it did all looked rusted solid. Might have a try next time I'm there - could come in handy

We have them at our shooting range, its right on the coast aswell, they use these to stand the wood stands in to place targets on..
crieffy
lucky fella ,if you ever need a had one week ,i got a tent!!!! Any members on here would be welcome to come for a shoot. Over the last 20odd years I have only ever come across 2 other folk shooting the same land as me, so there's plenty to go round. And plenty of room for tents too - all the others have blown away P.S. 35p per tail too

I think the farmers would be delighted to have some ferreteers here I do pretty good with the rifle, but have to keep moving. Ferrets would be great for cleaning up certain areas.
