kip270
Went up the Farm today to zero my .222. The first time i went up there in October, i came across some camo netting, nowhere near any roads or anything, looked like it was set up for decoying in the summer maybe, but it had fallen down a bit. Went up today and it is still there?? Now did the person who put it there forget about it, or couldn't just find it?? Now would you take it knowing you are going to use it later in the year, and knowing you could put it to good use or would you leave it in case the original owner comes back for it
Millomite
Ask the farmer who may have put it there.
pin
Is yours an exclusive permission? If it is, I would speak to the farmer about it and see what he wants to do with it. If it's not an exclusive agreement, as long as it's not harming anything or endangering livestock then I would leave it be, again asking the farmer if he knows who it might belong to. If he knows perhaps take the number the farmer has for him and call him saying you found it and has he lost it - might lead to some other shooting. SPARKIE
id take it and put it to good use if it doesnt look like its being used
duster
I'd briefly mention it to the farmer. If he knows nothing about it, then make it dissappear.............
Stealth Stalker
Mention it to the farmer cos if he's trimming the hedges the camo net can make a right mess of his trimmer don't ask me how I know this SS
kip270
Cheers guys, will mention it next time i'm up there, and let you know the outcome
stevethevanman
Ask the farmer and he has no idea why it is there then take the netting into safe storage and staple/nail a sign up saying to ring this number, and the case is done

SPARKIE
nahhhh go on take it and if anyone asks say it had a sparrow hawk cought in it so you thought you best remove it
steve_k
i wood put it some where out of sight for a while then if any one ask where it has gone, just say you moved it to... where ever... as it was in you way and you thought it wood be safer where ever you put it. then if nobody says anything you have a new net to the collection! good luck and happy borrowing! il cacciatore
I found top quality hide poles in a carry case and gave them to the farmer. The farmer said if noone collected them then I could have them. Havent seen him again since. My opinion is do as you would want someone else to do if you lost something! kip270
What i don't get is though, how do you leave something like that behind when you have finished shooting?? I know i wouldn't of left my netting behind
