Went up the Farm today to zero my .222.

The first time i went up there in October, i came across some camo netting, nowhere near any roads or anything, looked like it was set up for decoying in the summer maybe, but it had fallen down a bit.

Went up today and it is still there??

Now did the person who put it there forget about it, or couldn't just find it??

Now would you take it :/ knowing you are going to use it later in the year, and knowing you could put it to good use or would you leave it in case the original owner comes back for it :lol:

Is yours an exclusive permission? If it is, I would speak to the farmer about it and see what he wants to do with it.

If it's not an exclusive agreement, as long as it's not harming anything or endangering livestock then I would leave it be, again asking the farmer if he knows who it might belong to. If he knows perhaps take the number the farmer has for him and call him saying you found it and has he lost it - might lead to some other shooting.

I say set-up a cammo hide opposite the one you found, camp out making sure you keep well hidden, and see if anyone comes to collect it :P

i wood put it some where out of sight for a while

then if any one ask where it has gone, just say you moved it to... where ever... as it was in you way and you thought it wood be safer where ever you put it.

then if nobody says anything you have a new net to the collection!

good luck and happy borrowing!
