craigpigeonshooter
Which barrel do people use for the first shot on a o/u? Top or bottom?
station
I always have top one tighter choked and then chose which one I need to shoot first.
Brad93
A lot of it is preference. I prefer top barrel. With the top barrel there is more muzzle flip/felt recoil, so if I need the bottom barrel for a pricked/missed bird flying the other way it is a more controlled shot

If you fire bottom then top the increased muzzle flip from the top barrel is irrelevant as the gun is then empty.....
Westley
Surely it is dependant on choking and target distance.
