camokid
hi all for the second time in a week a dog walker messed up my stalk again tonight he was fully in the right this time but still sent the deer running for the hills just as last light faded... at this point it was getting to dark to make things out so admitted defeat on the deer and started to get my lamp sorted to stay on for a fox... i made my way back up the hill from here i can get the best view around... i switched on my electric caller and within 5 minuets i had a visitor she was a fair shot away but i could see her well and took aim.... a nice thud rang out and my nite had turned for the better.. on inspection it was a big vixen with a very odd tail and a huge belly she was obviously pregnant i could feel rat size cubs in her this is the first sign of cubs so far... farmer was pleased as he mentioned he had seen a fox mooching around the cattle barn... many thanks andy
