Sco77w
I should be getting my FAC through (hopefully soon, been about 4 months since my application went in) and I'm wanting to use my Armsan a612 for PSG so I'll need an extended mag tube. I will need one about 15" long so it should give me an extra 4 or 5 shots but nobody lists one. I can have the shotgun converted to section 1 cheaply enough but wondered what it was going to cost me for a tube. Has anyone on here made or had one made? I've seen a video where a guy machined one from solid steel but that would end up being too heavy. I know benelli / beretta mobil chokes fit the barrel maybe a Nordic components tube for another shotgun may fit, Does anyone know what will? I've searched the forum and the web but not had much luck. The closest I got was a guy from Rude Fat Dog made one but has no plans to do it commercially. I really don't want to have to buy another semi auto when I've been happy with what I have, also It's the only Armsan in the rack at the club among a rake of M2s and SX3s. (I know there's a reason for that but I like being a bit different to the crowd) Edited March 8, 2014 by Sco77w
welshwarrior
You'll find the thread will almost certainly be the same as another larger make that you can use only issue is finding that make. Thread size would be a good starting point.

Thread size would be a good starting point. As the tube will be basically to suit 12 ga internal, I might guess threads are mostly common to suit as the thickness of the tube wont give many options. Not something I have tried ever though
Sco77w
I went on holiday to Florida at Christmas and took the mag tube cap with me hoping to pick something up while there but didn't have any joy, the only tubes I found in stock were for Remington shotguns and my cap wouldn't fit the gun the tubes were designed to fit as they had a different thread. I don't believe for a minute Armsan chose to use a thread different to all the other makes, I just need to know which one they chose to copy. Gunman
Can not remember of the top of my head but some sort of sps? short barrel ,pump action pistol grip, sight rails and all the junk . Not my sort of thing but it came in from a trade customer and have been asked to sort it out if possible . Nothing doing from Franchi , one of those jobs that if I find a mag tube I will sort out but not going to spend to much time on otherwise .
