Description

This rifle was purchased in about 1981 and used on only a few occasions before being stored away as I moved from the York area where my club was.

Researching the gun shows it to be a real classic with great write ups. It has been described by others as being a 'beautiful piece of kit'! I have not had any tests done on it to check its power, but it has had a few pellets shot from it and seems absolutely fine. The scope is also immaculate and is labelled ASI deluxe.

In addition I will put two knock down targets in with the price. A squirrel and crow.

I am happy to email other pictures if you would like them. I can only put three on this ad.

The rifle is now based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Please feel free to ask any questions but please remember I am not a technician!

I would not particularly like to post this rifle but if you are happy to pay for this at your own risk I will gladly do so.

Just got one of these in .20...never knew what it was until I saw your pictures so thanks!! It is a brilliant gun considering it must be nearly 40 yrs old....a family member had it from new and has probably fired less than a tin of pellets...it was bought for squirrels and left under a bed wrapped in a blanket for 25 years!!!..

If it was bought new in .20, it's not a feinwerkbau sport fella.

If it is not rusty, surely the name and model is written on it....?

On the left hand side of the cylinder at the rear it should say FIENWERKBAU-SPORT and the model, either 124 or 127 and calibre. On the right hand side, it should say MADE IN GERMANY.

Rimfire,

I am now v curious,ok have gun in front of me...on back l/handside(as I look down the gun)it says 'made in West Germany'. there is nothing on otherside at all.Just in front of scope rail on the top in faded gold italics says ''original''.........thats it!? it is 5.05 (.20) calibre..has serial number571520 stamped on l/side of barrel??.Same trigger/trigger guard/safety catch etc as above picture.Only difference I can see is this one has hole through stock above trigger with Allen key screw bolt in addition to the 2 screws further down stock near where barrel hinges when breaking. I am no expert n airguns, have had a few over the years but never got wildly excited @ them, but it just oozes quality/well built.I am a total luddite re photos etc or would post some on here....could it be a Mk1 of same gun??......any assistance greatly appreciated. thanks.

Its an Original 45 not a FWB sport many came here at same time as FWB many in .20 cal, not a bad gun but badly let down by .20 pellet choice at the time
