DUNKS
Hi I have acquired one of the above and although I have found out quite a lot about it. When made etc I still need more info. Perhaps someone on here knows about them. I know BSA made this gun in a plain form but the one I have is the deluxe model with a quality walnut stock, chequering, some light engraving and a shotgun style auto safety. What I would really like to know is how many deluxe models were made. I do know that a lot had 23 inch barrels but mine is 25 and a half. Thanks. DUNKS
83 views and not one "expert " yet. I suppose not many collectors on this forum. Although I have tried the vintage shotgun forums and no joy there either. Think these little BSAs must be rare indeed.

kent
I think BSA will tell you more if you give them a serial number? If not there is or maybe was a BSA owners group forum on the net
DUNKS
I think BSA will tell you more if you give them a serial number? If not there is or maybe was a BSA owners group forum on the net Thanks, tried them both. There is basic info which I have but nothing detailed. The records seem to be lost. Perhaps the guy who asked for the photo will be along with all the info I might need!! Edited March 17, 2014 by DUNKS

DUNKS
Looks nice, I can't help with your question though, sorry.. Thanks anyway, it is nice. lovely bit of kit. From what I can discover there might have only been a few hundred made and half of those would have had the shortened barrel. There has just got to be info somewhere. hoggysreels
Looks an interesting .410 Production dates seem to vary slightly according to internet imformation .. Is it a non-ejector? ... Bolt arrangement seems more agricultural (purposeful) than the opposite number webley! ... though l like it. Hope you get use out of it ... DUNKS
Hi. It is an ejector, works perfectly and it's a modified lee metford bolt. The run of the mill 410s had beech stock and a safety on the bolt all same as Webley. I have it on good authority that production ran from 1911 to 1939.
