try a few different rounds.tried about 8 different types and weights in my howa 223 and nothing would come near hornady 53 gn superformance in mine so i stick to these.plus if its a new rifle the groups usually get tighter as you put a few more rounds through it and get use to shooting it...

ill do that mate thanks...

Start with basics,

scope mounts tight ?

stock screws tight ?

shoot with mod off ?

Eliminate those issue's first, trust me loose mounts are a common cause. After that try different ammo,

the gunsmith at the shop mounted my scope for me mate,i took it with me to make sure i got the lowest mounts i could with that particular scope.i did infact check the mounts though, thanks mate...........

Something is likely amiss with it like said take the mod off and check all action screws, mounts etc. Put some good ammo through it then take it back were you bought it. My bet its the moderator or screw cutting (have a magnified look at the crown some fools ram a revolving centre hard in and mess it up when threading)

used my bore snake mate

Chuck the bore snake in the bin, get yourself a bore guide, good quality one piece rod, jag and some patches with some good quality copper and carbon remover and give it a good clean. You should of done that after each shot really if the rifle was new.

warne mounts (new) nikon m223 scope(s/hand)........

Second hand scopes can be duff, if taking the mod off and checking screws, mounts swap the scope out for a proven one. Some toe rags sell their broken junk rather than fix or bin it! I take it the gun is new?

If it's a multi piece rod I wouldn't, all mine are 1 piece plastic coated, while your buying get a bore guide and some brushes. And try a different scope.

yes mate,im going to put one of my other scopes on,as soon as i can get some 30mm rings........
