bear-uk
I have just made my first sling. Not worth taking pics as it looks pants. But it works and I can always try harder next time.
Marki
Before anyone thinks it, I'm not trying to sell anything. I have hand trouble (carpel tunnel) and doing these helps to keep my fingers from playing me up. Truth is it makes them ache instead of hurt. I think they would be worth selling to be honest. I had my carpal tunnel operation at the beginning of last December. There is an improvement but it still hasn't healed completely. Brought a set of swivels, thinking i'll do another sling, assumed they we universal fitting. Not fit Browning Maxus though. GUTTED and it looks pretty good so far

Salop Matt
I fancy making one of these for my air rifles, some thing to do while sat in the sofa with a brew on wet days or when I am on call so cant get out and about ! ATB Matt
Salop Matt
Spike, How long did it take you to do the rifle sling ? Also is it possible to make it double that width ? ATB Matt
Spike Chess
If I did it without stopping takes just over 2 hours. Takes me about 5 hrs cause i stop every half hour or so, give me a rest. I wouldn't think you'd need it twice as wide. It is full width of the swivels as it is.

Spike Chess
Matt try doing the braclet first to get the idea. Then move onto the sling.

Spike Chess
Saw some similar at the Midland game fair on a stall, charging £40 bar a few pence, Jeez didnt realise how expensive they are to buy.My advice...make ya own... cost about £20-25 depending on how much swivels cost you.
