I brought a karcher k2 from b and pooh yesterday for £110 , about 1/4 of the weight of my old halfrauds one which decided to eject the feed hose from the lance narrowly missing my friends face , the thread on the aluminium pipe had stripped itself clean ! And the special plus 50% power lance on the karcher has stripped most of the paint off of my alloy wheels

My one took some of the sand stone paint of the side of my place but only one part I think it was duff paint underneath that was the problem but it shore got the wall nice and clean ready for repainting. :good:

I remember buying a pressure washer from Kwik Save many moons ago! Cost £14.99. Used it 5 times in 2 years and the valve in the lance cracked. spewed water all over the user! By then Kwik save had gone under, so looked for a replacement lance. It was cheaper to buy a whole new washer ???

Bucket n sponge now

Got an RAC one from Homebase a couple of years ago with the round patio cleaner head and two lances and must say its very good, previously had two Karchers and they both lasted about 18 months. and they were not as powerful as the RAC one I have now!
