al4x
Wonder if it tasted any good? Looks like it could have made a fair few sausages... I have my friend in nuthampsted asking for some so fingers crossed. They may struggle to beat the last escapee I had which was a pot belly pig mixed with muntjac now they were good sausages
Old farrier
Hi Don't no all the details so can't realy judge the keepers action However I know a little about captive rheas And they are mostly ok if your not in there pen and very protective of there area if you enter it very dangerousness if cornered The male can get very agressive in the breeding season ( ostrich is the same ) There peck is nowhear near as bad as there kick and this is proberably why when catching them a roap with balls on is thrown round there legs to tie them up immobilising the bird and allowing its capture Should it have been loose no Owner who lost it should be held responsible Anyway just my view All the best Of Ps in my area in the last few years we have had Escaped Bob cat....... Killed by car Wallaby ...... Killed by car Servil cat .... Killed by car Gophers .... Gassed by defra Edit Forgot to mention Turtles in river and park ponds removed Small cayman in pond removed and rehomed Edited May 14, 2014 by Old farrier
