craigpigeonshooter
I am taking part in a simulated game day at Hexton manor in Bedfordshire in a few weeks. The "birds" are high so which cartridge do I use? Clay cartridge 7.5 or game/pigeon 6's? Or something different.
pestcontrol1
Any clay load will be fine
Flashman
A light clay load, probably fibre. High or not, banging out 50 carts per drive will soon take it out of your shoulder. Great fun, though.
Quickshot
Shot there on Good Friday, Its very good, but remember a light load as you can soon do your shoulder in. I was shooting 100 per drive whilst there. The birds are good, but they are not overly high, apart from the "Grand Stand" at the end for which anything you shoot will still struggle - they are a long way away! Have fun! Ropemunky
I went to the simulated day at Harborough Rocks yesterday and shot some extremely high clays using normal 28 gram Comp X. I shot nearly 500 cartridges that day and must admit I feel a little sore today. Most gents where using 21 gram loads and it did not seem to hamper there scores at all.
