Pykie
Heard a few magpies cackling the other evening as I fed our flight ponds. Decided on an early ambush in a young plantation for them as currently no one has a call bird near me for the larsen. spandit
I'd never seen a jay before I moved to my new house - there's at least one who lives nearby but not something I'd shoot as not causing me any problems. rich1985
Jays are part of the corvid family as do just as much harm as magpies, working the hedges killing young song bird chicks and eggs. Shoot them on sight. Well done with your ambush! Worked a treat! Well done keep up the good work!

Rimfireboy
Well done Mark, jays are about as common as magpies round my way. Nice looking birds that they are, to me they're just as much of a pest. Good job.
