ernyha
I shot two pigeons with one shot a couple of years ago. Two birds were crossing fast at the far side of the pattern and i went for the lead bird with the intention of going for the second one with the next shot. They both dropped with the first shot but the lead bird was only winged whereas the second one folded. :*) Not enough lead or what? :*)
deadeyedick
what size cartridges were you using??! I've never done it with birds, however I saw my father shoot two red deer (both stags) by accident! Luckily the second stag got it in the boiler room - and fell instantly. Big Angus
Nice going, i too have had a two bird hit. Only prob with me was i think it was a real FLUKE. And the fact that only one of the birds dropped. But it does make you feel good.
LLOYDY
Many years ago shooting on winter rape ,doing the usual thing ,chasing them around the field. Well they dropped in about 600 yards away twice, so I moved there with 6 decoys settled in the ditch and waited, In they dropped about 50 of them so I lined up tow or three of them .fired then shot at one flying off to the left and then swung around to the right firing at another Well I picked up three from my deeks two from my left and one from my right . Not bad 6 birds for three shots. :(
Teal
I shot 6 rooks with one shot (they were in a tree ), picking them up took longer than expected though because some of these were hoppers and they can go fairly fast!!
F150
When I was a young one, I watched my dad take 2 birds with his first shot and take a 3rd with his second. I have only managed taking two in a tree for one shot. DA, are your birds joined at the hip?
