Reeceknight
ok it's not quite like the Americans doit but I think it looks ok keeps things tidy and concealed . Not finished yet I'm adding more padding to the gun section. but I like the idea it's hidden. not exactly stealth now that 1000's of pw members have seen it lol
Medic1281
Tidy job that! Any possibility of getting a lock or even a cable to run through it for top security?
Reeceknight
Next step will be to add some Velcro straps for the gun and a cable lock on yes

tignme
So you need to tip everything out to get at the gun. a slide out drawer would be better.

The only better thing would be a drawer that could come out by button on a remote like on the movies in spy cars. :-). Nice work there, looks great. NickS
You should have modelled it on the one that 007 has on his ASton Martin in Casino Royale - it slides out automatically from under the dash. Not sure how the Police would welcome it though! Nick

Mentalmac
Do it! Make it an electric one go ultimate kudos... Maybe with one of those spring loaded trays that raises up as its let out (like *** in car cup holders...)
TriBsa
Very nice! But is the spare wheel under it? If so can it be lifted out without revealing the contents if you need to change a wheel? Tom
fenboy
So a secret compartment that we all now know where it is Also make sure you take the mora out along with the gun or plod might not be happy if he stumbles across it.

Tom there's actually nothing under there exept a little kit but the spare wheel is on the back. if the spare was in the boot I wouldn't have bothered doing it if I'm honest lol
Reeceknight
I trust you all......... Like a weird cyber family. (All jokes aside I don't leave it in there over night and it's been empty since I done it haha, iv only used it once. This week it's become just a "shooting items" kind of storage. chokes, ear defenders etc) Edited August 7, 2014 by Reeceknight
Paddy Galore!
I made one in the roof of one of my old vans once upon a time, doubled up as a shelf for the levels, ladders, and broom. nice job you've done there
