Wa02ger
Good evening all, Could anyone on here advise me on how to post my rifle to Newcastle? Using an RFD seems very expensive and I don't think royal mail or parcel force will take them any longer. Any help would be great. Thanks Matt
robbiep
There is a thread 'pinned' at the top of the air rifles section which gives details
bruno22rf
The post office do it-think its special delivery and about £15 next day delivery.

chrisjpainter
And when they ask whats in the parcel just tell them its sporting equipment, ive just posted one it cost £14.50 48 hour recorded. or tell them the truth. that way you don't have to worry about potentially misdirecting them. I'm not sold on this sporting goods idea. there's no need for even the slightest risk of being accused of deliberately misleading them. hyflier
I agree with Chrisjpainter. I've enquired about posting a non FAC air rifle, the postmaster knows what is in the box and it's not an issue. It might be if they later discover they were deliberately misled. The pinned thread at the top of this page is very useful and informative.
