samboy
Hi all. I have a Simmons Aetec on my rimmy but the scope mag adjuster is as tight as you like. Is there any way of making it more easy to turn. It is tight on or off the rifle. Thanks all.
wymberley
Have you tried 'exercising' it throughout its range for a few minutes?

merseapaul
I have a different simmons that has a tiny Allen screw recessed in case you want to lock your mag (as I do). Might be worth a look if you have not already.

moorvale55
I have a Hawke scope, when purchased I thought it was duff, but as above has said there is a tiny Philips screw or hex screw, just back it off a bit and it should turn, it's to stop you exceeding your maximum magnification. This often is the symptom of a tube under tension, remove and check the mounts are perfectly aligned if fitted if its not fitted get the thing checked for true
