simon6ppc
today i took two side kicks with me flighting pigeons as the barley hasn't just been cut yet,the driller and channa,so not to cause damage to the crop we got down behind the edge in the picture and shot the birds coming our way so they landed in the grass field behind us,we had a good three hours off some serious fast high birds with the wind being a good 20mph if not more..we picked up just short of 50 which i was very pleased with as to me one high pigeon is worth 5 coming in to the decoys.tomorrow we are back decoying again on some cut barley where we had 253 last week so that could be interesting as well.my side kicks seemed a bit camera shy today so its just me in the picture with my lab Jack.lol.. JDog
I agree, one high flight line bird is worth five decoyed 'doddlers'. That was an excellent session with your acolytes.
