hindhunter
can anyone tell what is the best trailcam/stealthcam for detection range and trigger speed I am wanting to try and take pics of slow moving vehicles on forestry tracks
Konnie
think most would pick up slow vehicle, I would go for one with black flash, if its for people don't want it spotted and walking off.look on uttings site they have all the info on different models mine says 60' 19m
Gamefarm
We have 6 cameras on the go, 3 different manufacturers. Little Acorn has been the most reliable, also easiest to drive. Not much to choose between any of them for picture quality etc. Like has been said, go for the black I/R flash if you don't want to lose the cameras to 2 legged vermin

hindhunter
hi and many thanks for all your comments I currently use stealthcams and 2 new browning cams and they are good but I am looking for the best cam that I can attach to a tree at about 12 feet high over a track that vehicles use. so I need a good trigger speed plus good ir detection range so that the camera does not miss the vehicle one of my cameras recently caught an image of a dog at one of my pens and we traced the dog through the picture to a local house and I was able to tell them that their pooch had killed a couple of my birds. also got images of otter carrying away poults, but nothing I can do about that
