stuy
Managed to get out and take fellow pw member oldfeller out on some stubble, which was getting alot of pigeon traffic, but they just didn't want it! Obviously done the usual things , magnet , no magnet, flapper, no flapper, etc... tried different patterns with decoys but no avail. Ended up with 4 crows, and 65 woodpigeon, oldfeller was doing his camera man bit making a video! As I said in an earlier post we do have lots pigeon here but getting the right conditions, I.e no other stubbles for them, and a good stiff wind! Would I think improve the bag numbers

JDog
For all of us except you know who that would be a decent day at this time of year.
stuy
For all of us except you know who that would be a decent day at this time of year. I dont discount this as a poor day, but having been watching the field for a week and seeing very large numbers of birds, did expect a few more , but as usual the wily woodpigeon , proved me wrong yet again ! I am sorry if I came across a bit blasé its not the case.

pigeon controller
Stuy, you did very well to get your 65 as they are very spooky this time of years due to the shooting pressure with stubble fields and the the number of shooters out.
