garymc
Hi Guys Looking for your advice on where best to sell some working cocker pups in Northern Ireland. The Northern Ireland Working Cocker Club doesn't allow adverts on their facebook page and I'd like to steer clear of Gumtree if I can. Just looking for somewhere that folks from Northern Ireland would want to look for pups. Loads of websites but they seem to be mainly "mainland" sales. Any help is much appreciated! Cheers
loriusgarrulus
Why not try other sales on here. Also some of the gundog websites have for sale sections on.
The Juicer
Belfast telegraph on a Thurs. The original place for animals. Maybe even farming magazines.
Millomite
Gundog breeders or ukgundogs I have seen a few irish adverts on there, and it's not that difficult to get a pup across the water nowadays with the ferrys
DJL4
As above but also worth looking at - Check out the gundogs "groups" on FB such as - Gundogs for sale - Pedigree gundogs for sale - Working & Trialling gundog spaniels for sale - Serious working gundogs and others. If your on FB join one or more of these and put your advert up on the relevant group. You could also try an add on the Felstead Gundog website which I've used in the past. As has been mentioned already getting a dog/pup back to the mainland from Ireland (North or South) is a lot easier nowadays and if someone likes the breeding of your litter it wont be a problem. I got my last Lab pup from Southern Ireland purely because it had the breeding and line I was looking for, distance is not a problem for the right dog. Good luck with your pups.
