Batmancaver
you lads are all mad :( Why? Although squirrells are a type of rodent they do not carry diseases like rats do so they are perfectly safe to eat. Lots do eat them and recomend them to others so they must be worth eating. Lots of people also shoot and eat rabbits. According to some of the more recent research, it is possible that rabbits may also be related to rodents! It does not matter what the animal is related to but whether it is safe and good to eat. Both squirrels and rabbits have fleas but as already stated they live in the fur and you do not eat that do you? Mind you reminds me of a story I read somewhere about some war time evacuees staying in the country. They shared a house with some locals but lived in a seperate part of the buiding. To help them out the locals gave them some rabbit to cook for their tea. The next day they asked how it had been and got the reply: "Well the meat tasted lovely but we spent most of the night picking the fur out of our teeth!" I don't know how true that is but it raises a laugh anyway. Karl
