Are green ducks edible?

Shot 4 Mallard on Friday evening flight, the birds were left on their backs in a cold garage and cleaned on Sunday morning. 3 Drakes were fine, but a duck has a very green back end. Its inwards were much more stinky greenish instead of a healthy looking colour too.

As usual I steep the birds in salty water, the duck now looks just fine. Is it edible, would you eat it? (I hate waste, don't shoot what I can't eat but don't want to be ill)

Thats the normal time I leave everything before cleaning, don't much like the smell of warm birds when I'm cleaning them.

Looks like it's taken a few pellets in the gut area and this will have ruptured the intestines allowing their contents to leak into the abdominal cavity and stain it green. This is also why it was "much more stinky" than normal. No problem to eat it after a good rinse out. I normally clean any obviously gut shot birds the same day as they are shot.
