Seal skins work a treat. I have to shooting version with the fold back trigger finger, but I'd strongly recommended plumping for the Hunter version which is a full glove

Who have you used to order the gear Psycho ... atb

Was lucky went onto bay and a seller was selling a pair of hunters unopened in large for £28 so snapped them up

on the sealskins site noticed they recommended there Merano wool liners. Have Marano wool other stuff and find it very good thermal to weight ratio got a pair off the bay for a tenner

Was in the same boat as yourself until I was out with the Mrs in a saddlery shop and spotted full leather thermal lined gloves which was not bulky really slim, perfect for trigger pull.

They are extremely warm and comfortable and being full leather no doubt they will last a few years.

I use "peacock" hand warmers in mine, Deer hunter double gloves with the hand warmer slipped into the back of the glove. The only problem is as with wearing gloves is that you loose a certain amount of dexterity, not too bad if you have the finger-less type. But then your finger ends get cold
