mpk
Evening, I own and run MPK Custom Calls, I make them and myself and mudpatten field test them and he does a lot of the tuition etc. This is one of the older videos he did with BASC but with a different call. If your interested in learning more mudpatten has a lot more tutorial stuff on my You Tube channel. Check it out here: http://m.youtube.com/results?q=mpk%20custom%20calls&sm=1/

wingnut
My Cocker has never even seen / heard a Goose before and has just gone mental looking for them while I watched that video.

malkiserow
How easy is it to learn these calls? I am good on the Sam Neyt call for crows and the tenterfield whistle. I pigeon and owl call with my hands (these last 2 are mostly to allow the kids to see the birds rather than for any other purpose)
mudpatten
Essentially, it`s quite simple. There are some fundamental breathing techniques to master with a duck call and some breathing and hand position stuff to learn with a short reed goose call. There is a time, right at the beginning of the learning process, where one tries to put two or three basic steps into motion at the same time which can be quite amusing, but it usually falls into place quite quickly. If I can learn do it, so can anybody else!
