I bought an S-Tac, which was clearly faulty at manufacture (though I didn't notice at the time). I did notice four months later though when I couldn't get the dust of the obj. lens only to find the seal was hanging out, the lens was loose and it had dumped all the gas and filled itself with dust and fluff. Now have a four weeks wait minimum for a replacement. Then my mate bought another S-Tac. Couldn't move the parallax focus knob, I mean it simply wouldn't budge. Returned for replacement. Two purchases, independently, both faulty. I'm not saying Zeiss, Swarovski, Meopta et al don't have faults, but, I've never had a faulty one and nor has my mate, and we've been through a few between us.
