glb8686
I have to do a presentation as part of a course, which I am doing on clay shooting. That bits the easy part. I also have to persuade in this presentation and although I love shooting I'm finding it hard to come up with many points to persuade someone to take up the sport. Any ideas pw massive? Dirty Harry
Olympic sport, gets you outside in the fresh air, teaches gun safety and respect for the gun, good for hand eye coordination, fun, enjoyable, good social scene, meet new friends, travel to different shooting ground in some lovely parts of the country, can gets your kids involved, good for young and old, women can be as good as men, guns are involved and everyone likes guns! Zetter
Its dynamic and fast paced (when you are in the cage though waiting can take a while though see below for social side ) you actually see your skill improving Its social the main reason I shoot clays is the crack I have going round with the guys I shoot with. Anyone can do it if they can get a shotgun licence (my daughter shoots with me when its warm and shes 12 ), it doesnt have to cost the earth (one of the best shots in our little group at the ground shoots a £120 baikal) It get you out in the fresh air regularly

demonwolf444
Most places have a local clay club easiest way into the sport. Its inclusive - Anyone can take it up, guns to suit all ages, genders and handicaps its a level playing field. - Ie men, women, and disabled people can all compete on the same level which is not true of many sports. Best of luck with your presentation.
Squinting shot
Fun sport. Gets you out in the fresh air. In my case it's a freindly sport I don't have a pal to shoot with so when I go I always tag along with other shooters who give you tips. Men and women friendly not too expensive

littlerob
Shooting brings home more gold medels and silver wear for Great Britain than any over sports
