Wildfowler
Approaching the end of the fowling season and start of the clay season (for me at least), I bought some Eley firsts from Eastern Sporting earlier this week, and they were cheaper than almost any of the other cheaper brands! Plastic wad 71/2, 8, 9's £149 per thousand, £37.25 a slab (250).... Fibre wad £156 per thousand, £39 per slab (250)... Just thought I'd let you guys know, anyone local, get in there and fill your boots while you can!!!
Penelope
The 7.5's are a good pigeon cartridge too. Rst1990
Was in there Tuesday and was told about the deal, the reason they are cheaper is because eley have had problems with there .410 cartridge and won't be sending any out until August so not to lose customers they slashed some prices on the 12g
bornfree
Thetford guns are doing the same price £149.

But I did go in there to get some .410 carts and walked out with 12g eley as the deal is very good lol I suppose eley will get you one way or the other
aris
How's that going to help not lose any customers, if they're after .410 cartridges Perhaps they use the same factory lines to make .410 as 12ga - so they are making an excess of 12ga - hence an oversupply - can/need to sell cheaper to shift stock. Maybe, but still totally irrelevant when it comes to saving .410 cartridge sales....you'd just buy another brand if there wasn't any Eley available, not stock up on 12 bores! Paladin
.410 and 28g were on ONE machine and 12g were on NINE machines. Cant see the logic in that statement from that dealer.
