islandgun
just finished watching, great stuff, one thing that struck me was that despite all the stuffing of faces there wasn't one obese person to be seen, despite all the fat and cheese consumed, vive la France ! harpoonlouis
I thought the Monica Galetti was good too. She isn't a hunter and so she had to confront her feelings when brought face to face with a boar hunt and she was pretty fair to all parties. They are all worth a watch. islandgun
I wondered how the idea of hunting a large animal with a motley crew of dogs in a fenced area would be tolerated in this country any thoughts ?

shaun4860
Just watched this weeks, Fair play to her, she wasn't struck on the actual hunt but made sure she was there at the kill, helped with gutting and butchering the carcass, also said she couldn't decide at the moment if she would go again, which is fair enough. Also cooked the liver, Was an interesting programme
malkiserow
was this the bbc not biased for once No, it was probably an independent that did the filming and the BBC bought it. I thought Monica was great and came across well. I'd be interested in trying her millefeuille anytime. Odd that they seemed to say that in the UK we shoot on these hunts ..... in reality they also shoot in France not just use dogs like the one example shown in the programme.
