Peak District - Tideswell.

Going up to the Peak District for a long weekend at the end of April for my birthday. The GF and I will be staying at a nice little B&B in Tideswell.

I'd appreciate some pointers on what is worth going to see/do and the names of any good restaurants/pubs.

Red lion at Litton for a pint.

Walk down Millers Dale to spot wild Rainbow trout.

Cathedral in the peak in Tideswell itself.

Blue John mines in Castleton.

Monsal Dale.

Threes Stags Heads at Wardlow Mires, just don't order lager or get your phone out!

Dayticket fly fishing on the Cressbrook and Litton.its well worth the money.

Castleton is nice - lots of tea shops (have a proper Bakewell tart) and Blue John Cavern is very good (and the BJ jewellery is pretty good if you are into that sort of thing).

Not far from Chatsworth.

+1 for Monsal Dale as well.

All very picturesque.

Just take clothing for every occasion.
