The GF and I will be staying at a nice little B&B in Tideswell. I'd appreciate some pointers on what is worth going to see/do and the names of any good restaurants/pubs. Blue John mines in Castleton. Monsal Dale. Threes Stags Heads at Wardlow Mires,just don't order lager or get your phone out! hedge Posted March 3, 2015 Report Share Posted March 3, 2015 Castleton is nice - lots of tea shops (have a proper Bakewell tart) and Blue John Cavern is very good (and the BJ jewellery is pretty good if you are into that sort of thing).
