fat_jay
When I move to my new home I will have best part of an acre. Neighbour to one side and nothing but open fields for miles, would i be granted an fac (thinking .22 rimmy)to keep the bunnys at bay? I know I could go sub12 ft air rifle, but thinking fac would give me more versatility at range.....plus the veg patch is at the very bottom of the garden. walshie
There's too many variables to answer that. The open fields for miles doesn't come into it unless they are yours or you have permission to shoot them. As a rule of thumb an acre would be too small to grant a rimfire, but each bit of land is different regarding safe backstops etc. Ask your FEO what he thinks. Konnie
as above if you do not have perm over other you cannot have bullets flying over it.
TaxiDriver
What about Fac air ?
Bemused
What about Fac air ? I was granted FAC air for my back garden of about an acre and it does the job. I still use it for bunnies in the garden even though I now have rimfire on an open ticket.
