Albert 888
This Was mine with cooper at3's on 265-75-16 they caught so I removed even more from the rear and they still rubbed a bit on the mudguard bracket,it also had different offset wheels on and a 2" spring and damper lift kit. These tyres where excellent on and offroad, and I used to drive it like I stole it. Infact I'm looking into getting some for my p38. secret-squirrel
I had 265 75 16 on my disco 1 it had 2" lift kit and wile normal driving couldnt fault them went of road bit of minor articulation happend and plenty of horific noises of rear arches and mud guard bracket and a few chunks of rubber missing plus they will desreoy your full lock ability as tyres will rub on your hockey sticks I then got busy with the grinder and put 2" suspention blocks under the +2" springs ....no more issues so in short your answer is mate dont do it unless you want to run m/t"s on the road
Daz1986
Cheers lads. Main issue is I have roads on there now that are really bad in the fields! I have a buddy selling cheap wheels off his defender. I am not to fussed about noise As long as they don't nacker anything
