HuskyRich
Been offered one today. It fits me like a glove and I do like the feel of it...But upon reading online they seem to be a bit of a nuisance?Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them and is their dubious repuation deserved? I have been wanting a semi for a fair while but at present my budget is tight and this gun fits nicely within it. Been ofered a good deal and the guy says its a goodun. Not looking to do massively serious shooting, just a couple days out a month shooting vermin and possibly the odd clay shoot if the fancy takes me. thoughts & experiences? Cheers

HuskyRich
Just thought I'd post again in case anybody in future searches.Have stuck about 100 or so carts through it and have to say its a pretty smooth gun. Not as heavy as i expected either.Mostly though, I can't get over how well it fits me. Never EVER had a gun that fits me even half as well.Went out the other evening on the farm just to shoot a few carts through it and a load of pigeons started coming in.Up came the gun. One shot. two shots. three shots.three pigeons.there's me standing there like My old gun must be miles out for me as I've never shot so well and with such lack of effort. No matter when or where or how. Whenever I bring this gun up it's there where ever I'm looking. After struggling for so long with my old gun this just seems so weird. Not had an issue yet either, scared me a bit reading so many people naysaying mossberg semi-autos and such but I'm glad (so far anyways ) that I made the purchase.Would quite like to order a black synthetic stock set for it but only places you can get them is the US and they won't ship overseas

If you like it and it goes bang and you conect with the targets thats most of the job done. >> Black ? If your that desparate to have a black gun then paint it. you could even have it multi rainbow should you so please.

MAB1954
The Saddlery & Gunroom have improved alot in recent times and I have got a few Mossberg 500 bits from them so could be your best bet for 9200 parts. I have also used havlinsales.com in the US they are very helpful and some parts are cheap which offsets the postage costs, I do not think there is any issue shipping a stock from US to UK. If you have a look on thier site you will find synthetic stocks for 9200. Enjoy the gun and good luck getting the bits you want.
