Andy W
Regarding the stock length, fit a thinner recoil pad, comb raisers can be the stick on variety or have the stock reworked, quite expensive. Before forking out money, get a second opinion just in case, but the recoil pad you could change yourself, I changed the pad on my 687 twice to get the right fit as to not snag on my clothes whilst mounting. Markio
Radcliffs in Colchester High street might be able to help. I understand that they have a try gun, so you'll be able to find your stock measurements. I have no idea if they can alter the stock themselves but someone here should be able to say. jon0881
When i went to sealand clay shooting place they told me my stock was 3/4 of an inch too long. The gunsmith on site was only going to charge £30 to fix it though. I think that included a spare gun to shoot with whilst he hacked away at it. MC
If you are in colchester area, the best person to have work on your stock is Jim Spalding. He lives at West Mersea and has a workshop at Braintree shooting ground. I will try and get his phone no. for you. I wouldn't give my gun to anyone else to work on. DARRYLDUNN
I would second the recomendation for Jim Spalding. His work is top quality and his prices are very fair. Darryl
dunganick
buy a beretta, miroku's particually the mk70 and 60 have 14.3/4 pull and alot of drop. They are notorious for it. Beretta tend to have 14 1/4 or 1/2 i believe and alot flatter combs. dont please stick one of those black comb raisers on a nice gr5 mk60, they are lovely guns and that would just be a waste.
