Wasp nest advice

We found a massive nest in the crook of a tree on exercise in Poland many moons ago. It wouldnt have been a problem but it was right next to where we had to harbour up for at least a day, and the inhabitants were getting mighty upset by having a lots of diesel engines running and squaddies milling about all of a sudden.

It was solved by donning a full NBC suit, bodge taping a thunderflash to a couple of antenna mast sections and then jamming the lit end into the nest like a Bangalore Torpedo.

Bish bash bosh. No more nest.

You should consider giving it a go....

Know that training area, did they still have anti tank springs in the grass that knackered up your running gear?

Yep, thats the one. All sorts of strange stuff lying around! Did you meet the local mushroom pickers, who would turn up out of nowhere literally in the middle of your harbour area or a firefight and just go about their business?

oh yes, parked the tanks up, cam nets on and everything, sat reading FHM next thing there's a local sat next to me with a mushroom basket jabbering away in Polish. Strange some years latter I get married to a Polish girl and on a visit to her parents the father in law takes me mushroom picking. National pastime out there.
