Vince Green
The French eat snails............enough said So did we apparantly! Snails were eaten here as much as much in france about a hundred years back. Protein was protein in those days. The only difference was we didn't start serving them in restaurants for ridiculous amounts of money. Vince Green
On the rabbit question with the French, my mate moved to France a few years back, he loves the French shooting laws, you can shoot where you like. No "this is my land / permission" over there. So every evening he would go out and bag a few rabbits, more than he wanted for his own use. So on the way home he would hand a few to the old ladies in the village and his neighbours. This apparantly earned him total acceptance in the village and made him a local "good bloke" to boot. Now my question is this, in England if you handed your neighbour a paunched but unskinned rabbit what would the reaction be?

Yep, on the whole British people are arrogant, ignorant, self righteous and angry. An ever increasing fathers less population and the rest that have a father may as well not have! All moral sense and common sense is governed by daily doses of tv soaps. :-(

WelshMike
No sir, always felt that way. Fair play U, at least you tell it as you want to. Just for balance I am not angry (unless people shoot a fox with a .22LR), I am only arrogant when I am right, ignorance is too subjective for me to comment...apart from that I am a decent enough bloke. WelshMike
I did say on the whole, so what, about 99% lol. Dont agree...99.9% is probably more accurate. The .01% is mostly formed from PW members
