dead eye alan
why put a speed controler on a flapper? there for magnets, you probably burnt the motor out due to it going too slow.
Redditch
Should work, I use one on mine when I have a corvid as decoy on it. What I do find,is that if you set it too slow, it won't go over cam, and locks up at the bottom or top of the stroke, and needs a gentle nudge to get it going again, and then a slight increase in speed to keep it going. Just don't make it too slow, 30-60 beats a minute for corvids, 200-300 do pigeon. Edited June 1, 2015 by Redditch

Redditch
Like I said, you probably had the speed to slow, and then it locked up at bottom or top of stroke, and that's when the motor will have burnt out Edited June 5, 2015 by Redditch

A1Decoy
it says a1pidgeon mania on it its a turbo flapper Ladyjack, sorry to hear your having issues with our flapper. The fact you have used it with a speed controller should not matter. They work fine with speed controllers. I will drop you a PM now. unico1
Nice one Redditch. Just looked, have you got the remote one?
Redditch
No, just the standard ones. I set the whirlies/magnets and flappers at a set speed, and leave them to it
