I saw only one interesting "murder buck", couple of weeks before, but never managed to get the shot. I went to check the same area again and this time had more luck. FOXHUNTER1 Posted June 18, 2015 Report Share Posted June 18, 2015 As above I wouldn't be happy using a .308 if the beast can run that far...............much prefer the .243 on roe dropping them on the spot . Out of interest was the beast heart shot ? I don't know why stalkers go for this shot only to see the beast run , personally I use the high lung shot with a much greater percentage dropping on the spot. I like to see them drop not run......
