a.f.dickin
Hi chaps, So I about to "pull the trigger" on buying a Sako 75 Deluxe .223. It is immaculate and comes with Schmidt and Bender 8x56 Hungarian scope and a few other bits and bobs, for £1300. A couple of questions, should I save more and go for a newer Sako 85? Spend about the same on a new Tikka T3 with scope? Or does it sound like quite a good deal and not to miss out, and get my act in gear and get over there with the pennies? In fact any opinions on the Sako 75 deluxe would be greatly appreciated.
steve_b_wales
If the rifle is in the condition you mentioned, then stay with the '75'. I had a Sako 75 in 22-250 calibre and it was excellent. I also have a Tikka T3 Lite in .243, and that too is an excellent rifle.

Rem223
I have a Sako 75 and I also owned an 85 and an A7. Of the three the 75 is in my view the best of the bunch.
welshwarrior
I'd rather a 75 than 85.
a.f.dickin
The rifle is now proudly mine, locked up in my cabinet. Can't wait to use it at the weekend!
